Kim Kardashian’s Last Response to Taylor Swift May Indicate Her Stance on the Reignited Feud

Fans might be expecting Kim Kardashian to respond to Taylor Swift’s apparent diss on her new album but the reality star made it pretty clear, back in 2020, that she was totally done with the years-old feud.

“@taylorswift13 has chosen to reignite an old exchange – that at this point in time feels very self-serving given the suffering millions of real victims are facing right now,” Kardashian tweeted in March 2020. “I didn’t feel the need to comment a few days ago, and I’m actually really embarrassed and mortified to be doing it right now, but because she continues to speak on it, I feel I’m left without a choice but to respond because she is actually lying.”Swift, 34, seemed to take aim at the Skims founder, 43, in a track from part two of her album, The Tortured Poets Department, which dropped two hours after the main album release at midnight on April 19.

Fans were taken aback when they noticed one of the album’s tracks, “thanK you aIMee” was strategically capitalized to spell out Kardashian’s name. Lyrics frame “Aimee” as a high school bully with thinly-veiled references that fans believe point to Kardashian.

“When I picture my hometown / There’s a bronze spray-tanned statue of you,” Swift sings in the first verse. “And a plaque underneath it / That threatens to push me down the stairs, at our school.”
